Sentry 2000 Emergency Room Scrubber System

Our Sentry 2000 Emergency Room Scrubber System is one of the most advanced emergency scrubber systems available today. It is a patented horizontal cross flow packed bed scrubber system with major applications in chlorine and sulfur dioxide emissions control. It has been subjected to the most demanding testing, surpassing the requirements of Uniform Fire Code Section 80.

Advantages

Performance

This scrubber can achieve virtually any stack emission performance desired, making it possible to control the performance of the system based on any inlet and outlet concentrations and flow rates.

Manual Damper

With the standard airflow of the Sentry 2000 being 3000 ACFM, it is possible to use manual dampers to balance the flow rate of gas from each room. Any flow rate desired can be chosen from each room, such as 2000-CFM to the storage room and 1000-CFM to the evaporator room. The elimination of automatic dampers reduces the initial cost of the ductwork system and removes a potential source of failure during a leak.

System Flow Rates

The basic system is rated at 3000 ACFM. If an application should require additional gas flow to the scrubber for any reason, the flow rate can be increased with calculated results. The packed bed portion of the system will increase in height based on the required flow rate, but the total length and width of the unit will not change. With the normal inlet conditions (as specified by the UFC), scrubber flow rates can easily be increased to 4500-5000 CFM. The fan horsepower of the system will increase to 15 hp. The elimination of automatic louvers and the required electrical components will offset any additional cost.

Single Containment Unit with Option for Double Containment

We offer a true double containment tank system that will eliminate the need for a containment dike. Only a concrete pad is required. The double containment system with top mounted vertical pumps eliminates the need for pump seals.

Our systems are supported by our experienced technicians who can provide startup, operator training, or perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration. Additional charges may apply for these services.
